Cristal Brut 2004 Vintage Overview

2004 OVERVIEW

Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 2004 is a tightly focused, vividly pure Champagne, layering ripe citrus and crisp orchard fruit with hints of brioche, chalk and gentle spice. Its hallmark is incredible precision and saline-driven energy rather than sheer opulence, building in depth and texture across a long, finely etched finish. Still youthful, it shows the structure and complexity to blossom beautifully with further cellaring.

About Cristal Brut

Cristal Brut by Louis Roederer is the house’s historic prestige cuvée, created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II and bottled in its signature clear, flat-bottomed glass. Produced only in great vintages from estate-grown old vines across top Grand Cru chalk soils, it typically blends around 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, aged many years on lees to yield a Champagne famed for its tension, silky depth, and remarkable longevity.
