The Judge Chardonnay 2013 Vintage Overview

2013 OVERVIEW

Power and depth define the 2013 Kongsgaard The Judge Chardonnay, layering ripe apricot, white peach and fig with roasted hazelnut, honeyed citrus and a strong mineral drive that keeps all the richness on a tight rein. The oak comes through as luxurious cream and smoke rather than heaviness, framing a concentrated, almost oily core that still finishes with remarkable cut and tension. This hugely acclaimed vintage feels like a benchmark: opulent, complex and still very much alive and evolving in the glass.
