About Chambolle-Musigny Amoureuses Premier Cru

Chambolle-Musigny Amoureuses Premier Cru from Joseph Drouhin is a tiny, jewel-like parcel of old Pinot Noir vines in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, immediately below Musigny and long regarded as a “quasi–Grand Cru.” The wine is famed for its gossamer texture and haunting perfume—silky, ruby to cherry in color, with shifting aromas from raspberry and wild strawberry to kirsch, violets, truffle and subtle wood—and delivers an unusually intense yet weightless palate that can age gracefully for decades.
