Hermanos Peciña Finca Iscorta de Peciña Gran Reserva 2015 shows deep, dark Rioja fruit with ripe plum and black cherry layered over sweet baking spice and gentle toasted notes from its long American oak aging. The palate is full-bodied yet lifted, with a smooth, enveloping texture, lively acidity and finely knit tannins carrying a long, savory finish. A modern-leaning Gran Reserva that still keeps its classical backbone and should gain even more nuance with time in bottle.
