2018 Pro Rating
Giuseppe Rinaldi’s 2018 Barolo Brunate shows a poised, classical profile, with dark cherry and wild strawberry layered over tobacco, licorice, herbs and a touch of menthol. Medium in body yet firmly structured, it carries chalky, gripping tannins and a long, spicy finish that reveals a core of sweet, red-toned fruit as it opens with air. This vintage emphasizes finesse and austerity over sheer richness, but still has the depth and resonance typical of Brunate.
Braised beef short ribs; Tajarin with white truffle; Roasted lamb with rosemary and garlic
