Guado de’ Gemoli 2021 shows Bolgheri’s ripe power wrapped in refinement, layering cassis, redcurrant and blueberry fruit with notes of lavender, Mediterranean herbs, dark spice and a touch of cedar. The palate is concentrated yet surprisingly graceful, with juicy acidity, polished but firm tannins and a long, savory, slightly saline finish that promises even greater complexity with time in bottle.
