CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino is Frescobaldi’s flagship Brunello from their historic Tenuta CastelGiocondo, one of the earliest estates to produce Brunello on the southwest slopes of Montalcino. Made from 100% Sangiovese grown around 300 meters on galestro- and clay-rich soils, it typically shows a clear ruby hue with blackberry and wild berry fruit, violets and rose, layered spice, tobacco and leather, firm yet polished tannins, and a long, elegant finish.
