Barolo Vigna La Rosa is Fontanafredda’s single‑vineyard Barolo from the historic “La Rosa” parcel in the Fontanafredda MGA of Serralunga d’Alba, made from Nebbiolo on calcareous‑marl and clay soils at south/south‑west exposure. It’s classically Serralunga in structure—high acidity and fine, persistent tannins—yet shows an especially floral, rose and violet‑tinged perfume with tobacco and spice notes, after roughly three years’ ageing in large oak giving a warm, long finish.
