Fonseca Vintage Port 2017 is a dense, dark-fruited powerhouse, layering plum and blackberry compote with hints of dark chocolate, spice and violets over a tightly woven frame of ripe, muscular tannins. Despite its sweetness and sumptuous texture, the wine shows a firm, structured core and tremendous length, promising spectacular complexity with extended cellaring.
