About Musigny Grand Cru

Faiveley’s Musigny Grand Cru is the domaine’s tiny, highly prized Chambolle-Musigny bottling—about 400–500 bottles a year—made from a 0.14‑ha of east/southeast‑facing vines rooted in shallow limestone, red clay and gravel. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir (often with whole‑cluster elements) and aged in a high proportion of new oak, it shows superb concentration and an unusual profile for Musigny: dense, chocolaty and herbal layers with licorice, blood‑orange/ red‑berry perfume and persistent, finely grained tannins.
