2013 Pro Rating
From Eyrie’s home estate in 2013, The Eyrie Pinot Noir shows a wiry, tightly coiled frame at first, gradually revealing delicate strawberry and cherry fruit layered with dried herbs, rose, and a tangy streak of citrus zest. The palate is lithe and high-toned, driven by bright acidity and firm but fine tannins that give the wine a serious, ageworthy structure rather than immediate plushness. With ample air, it gains a gentle sweetness of fruit and a spicy, peppery snap on the long, pure finish.
Cedar-plank salmon; Herb-roasted chicken with root vegetables; Mushroom and gruyère tart
