Ripened peach, apricot and lime rise from the glass of the 2022 Donnhoff Dellchen Riesling Grosses Gewachs, threaded with a subtle smoky, stony accent from its steep volcanic and slate slopes. The palate is intensely concentrated yet glides with remarkable lightness, delivering juicy yellow fruit wrapped in vivid citrus zest and a fine, mouthwatering saline snap. Long, precise and hovering on the finish, it already charms but clearly has the structure for extended aging.
