Domaine Trapet Père et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru En Ergot 2022 shows vivid red and black cherry fruit layered with plum, subtle spice and hints of flowers and earth, carried on a supple, medium-bodied frame. Silky tannins and gentle extraction give it a smooth, flowing texture, while a more muscular, slightly firm finish promises added complexity with some bottle age. Already seductive in its fruit and perfume, it still has the structure to evolve nicely over time.
