About Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru

Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg’s Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru is a finely etched, profoundly mineral Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir from the domaine’s small parcel in Ruchottes du Bas, on poor, stony soils at the mouth of the Combe de Lavaux. Often described as a “Chambertin made in Vosne,” it marries wild red-berry and woodland aromatics with silky yet taut tannins, great finesse, and a long, saline, limestone-driven finish. This is one of the estate’s crown jewels, built for decades of graceful evolution in bottle.
