About Vosne-Romanee Clos des Reas Premier Cru

Vosne-Romanée Clos des Réas Premier Cru from Domaine Michel Gros is the sole Premier Cru monopole of Vosne, a walled, triangular Pinot Noir vineyard on the limestone–marl slopes above the Réas valley that has belonged to the Gros family since the 19th century. Typically offering supple yet serious structure, it marries dense, pure red and black berry fruit with floral, spice and underbrush notes, delivering a velvety, finely tannic style that drinks well young but gains complexity over 10–15 years of ageing.
