Lithe yet intense, Domaine Leflaive’s 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières layers white peach, apricot and citrus zest over a spine of crackling acidity and wet stone, with its discreet oak already folded into the wine’s pure, sapid core. The frost-reduced yields show in the concentration, but the wine remains graceful and poised, finishing long, dry and vividly detailed.

Typically aged about a year in cask (with a modest proportion of new oak) then in tank, it is known for combining concentration and length with refined citrus, stone-fruit and floral character, expressing the finesse and tension of this high-performing Puligny terroir.
