Seductive from the first swirl, Domaine Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Le Musigny Grand Cru 2022 leans into a dark-fruited, floral register, with black cherry and wild berries threaded through with rose, cool herbs and warm spice. On the palate it feels plush and generously filled out, a deep pool of sweet, pure fruit that seems to float, while very fine tannins hide in the background and give quiet shape to the long, caressing finish.

Le Musigny Grand Cru from Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier is one of Chambolle-Musigny’s benchmark Pinot Noirs, drawn from 1.14 hectares of old vines (planted 1947–1962) in the heart of the fabled Musigny climat. Farmed sustainably and vinified with 100% destemming and gentle élevage, it is celebrated for its ethereal florality, silken tannins, and intensely pure yet finely etched fruit that captures the pinnacle of Chambolle finesse and longevity.
