About Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee Coeur de Roy Tres Vieilles Vignes

Dugat-Py’s Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée Coeur de Roy Très Vieilles Vignes is a powerful, old-vine village Pinot Noir drawn from some of the estate’s oldest massale-selection parcels (many planted around 1910) in lieux-dits such as Les Epointures, Combe du Dessus, Jouise and Les Marchais. Combining the depth and muscular structure typical of Gevrey with lifted floral notes, dark berry fruit, spice and mineral drive, it is a benchmark, ageworthy expression that often rivals Premier Cru wines in texture and complexity.
