Typically deep purple and intensely aromatic with small red fruits, licorice, spice and hints of rose, it marries firm, precise tannins with a mineral-inflected, almost weightless finish. This is a sensual, long-lived Burgundy that needs time in bottle to fully unfurl its finesse and complexity.
