Nuits-St-Georges Clos de l'Arlot Monopole 2022 Vintage Overview

2022 OVERVIEW

Silky yet quite concentrated, the 2022 Domaine de l'Arlot Nuits-St-Georges Clos de l'Arlot Monopole layers ripe strawberry and black plum with hints of raspberry, warm spice and a subtle earthy glow. Medium-plus in body with sweetly toned fruit, fine-grained tannins and fresh but gentle acidity, it feels generous and stockier than some vintages while remaining poised and precise on the finish.

About Nuits-St-Georges Clos de l'Arlot Monopole

Clos de l'Arlot Monopole (Domaine de l’Arlot) is a single-owner Nuits‑Saint‑Georges 1er Cru carved from a former quarry in an amphitheatre-shaped site whose patchwork of marl, Premeaux and white oolite produces an unmistakably mineral, sharply defined Pinot Noir. Typically made from the oldest vines on the slope and gently extracted with limited new oak, the wine shows floral (rose/peony) and red‑fruit aromas with silky, chalky tannins, fine acidity and an elegant, long finish that balances power and finesse.
