Silky at first sip yet quietly powerful, Domaine Claude Dugat’s 2022 Charmes-Chambertin layers ripe strawberry and raspberry with hints of cassis, warm spice and rose. The palate is medium to full-bodied and luxuriously textured, its sweet-toned red fruit and subtle orange-zest lift wrapped in fine but firm tannins, leading to a long, gently savory finish that already shows impressive persistence but clearly promises more with time in bottle.
