Richebourg Grand Cru 2022 Vintage Overview

2022 OVERVIEW

From the first swirl, Domaine Anne Gros Richebourg Grand Cru 2022 feels stately yet vibrant, layering pomegranate, black cherry and currant fruit with floral tones of violet and lavender and a cool, stony tension underneath. The palate is concentrated but poised, with deep, dark fruit running through a long, finely etched finish that shows both the old-vine intensity of Les Vérroilles and the polish of perfectly judged oak. This is a powerful, ageworthy Richebourg that still manages to feel pure, lifted and impeccably composed.

About Richebourg Grand Cru

Richebourg Grand Cru by Domaine Anne Gros is a tiny-production Pinot Noir from Vosne-Romanée’s fabled Richebourg vineyard, marrying muscular power with remarkable finesse and complexity. Typically deep purple and intensely aromatic, it layers florals (peony, rose, violet), spice (licorice, vanilla, coriander), red and black fruits, and evolving earthy, gamey notes over silky yet structured tannins, yielding a profoundly sensual, long-lived Côte de Nuits Grand Cru.
