This 2018 Dalla Valle MDV Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark, compact core of black fruit and cocoa wrapped in astonishing finesse, layering ripe blackberry, cassis and plum with hints of cigar box, baking spice and moist earth. The texture is plush yet perfectly controlled, with fine, persistent tannins and a long, resonant finish that confirms why this rare bottling is considered one of the peak expressions of eastern Oakville in a great vintage.
