Silky yet powerful, the 2020 Conterno Fantino Barolo Vigna del Gris layers ripe plum, sour cherry and wild raspberry with notes of rose, spice and a subtle blood-orange brightness, all wrapped in refined but assertive tannins. The palate is deep and generous without heaviness, showing impressive textural polish now, but clearly built to gain complexity with bottle age. This is a vibrant, expressive Ginestra cru Barolo that walks a fine line between opulence and precision.
