Colgin’s 2014 Cariad is a sumptuous, dark-fruited Napa blend that layers ripe blackberry and plum with hints of graphite, woodland herbs and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is dense yet refined, with beautifully sculpted tannins and a long, energetic finish that shows both power and poise. Already generous in its youth, it still carries the depth to reward further cellaring.
