About Priorat

Clos Mogador’s flagship Priorat is a powerful yet finely textured single-vineyard red from steep llicorella (slate) terraces in Gratallops, blending mainly Garnacha and Cariñena with small proportions of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinified with a significant percentage of whole clusters and aged in large, mostly neutral foudres, it expresses a distinctly Mediterranean character—dark fruits and wild herbs layered over wet slate minerality, with firm, chalky tannins and notable aging potential.
