The palate is concentrated yet vibrant, with bright acidity and firmly etched tannins giving a vertical, tightly wound feel that promises considerable complexity with time. Powerful, structured and not at all jammy, this is a serious, ageworthy Côte-Rôtie that needs patience to show its full detail.
