2023 OVERVIEW

Deep cassis and blackberry define the 2023 Le Petit Haut Lafitte, wrapped in a firm, polished frame of Cabernet tannin that gives the wine a serious, almost gravelly backbone. Notes of dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, violets and graphite add complexity to the ripe core of fruit, while a long, chalky-saline finish keeps it focused and savoury.
