About Chateau Rauzan-Gassies

Château Rauzan-Gassies is the Cabernet Sauvignon–dominant grand vin of this historic Margaux second growth, sourced from about 28–30 hectares of deep gravel and sandy-gravel soils around Margaux and Cantenac. Typically a blend led by Cabernet with Merlot and small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it is vinified in modern temperature‑controlled stainless steel and matured around a year or more in French oak, producing classically structured, elegant but fairly powerful left‑bank Bordeaux with good aging potential.
