Dark, seductive fruit is at the core of the 2022 Château Feytit-Clinet, with black plum, cassis and ripe berries wrapped in layers of cocoa, tobacco, and a subtle smoky-graphite edge. The palate is powerful and fleshy yet surprisingly refined, with plush, ripe tannins and a deep, mouthcoating mid-palate that carries through to a long, savory, chocolate-tinged finish. This is a concentrated, hedonistic Pomerol that still keeps definition and lift despite the warm vintage.

Under the direction of Jérémy Chasseuil since 2000, it has evolved into a dense, modern style of Right Bank Bordeaux, marrying rich, dark fruit and truffley depth with polished oak and muscular yet velvety tannins. This is an intense, ageworthy Pomerol that delivers serious complexity and character without the marquee-name price tag.
