About Cotes du Rhone Rouge

Côtes du Rhône Rouge from Château des Tours (Emmanuel Reynaud of Rayas) is a Grenache-dominant blend with Cinsault and Syrah, grown on argilo-calcaire soils strewn with sand and galets roulés around Vacqueyras. Made with manual harvests, traditional low-intervention vinification and no filtration, it’s renowned for its pale, sometimes hazy robe, intensely pure red-fruit and garrigue aromatics, and an unusually silky, airy palate that emphasizes finesse and drinkability over power.
