Clos des Jacobins is a Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru produced from a single 8–8.5 hectare, south‑facing parcel at the foot of the village slope — a Merlot‑dominated blend (around 80% Merlot, ~18% Cabernet Franc, small Cabernet Sauvignon) grown on limestone, clay and limestone scree that gives the wine ripe, plush red‑fruit character with a noticeable chalky/mineral spine.
