Blanc des Millenaires Brut 2014 Vintage Overview

2014 OVERVIEW

From the chalky grands crus of the Côte des Blancs, Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires 2014 glides between tension and generosity, layering crisp apple and white peach with lemon cream, pastry and roasted nuts over a deep, vinous core. The mousse is fine and persistent, the acidity vivid yet perfectly integrated, giving a crystalline, saline finish that already thrills but promises even greater complexity with further cellaring.

About Blanc des Millenaires Brut

Blanc des Millénaires Brut is Charles Heidsieck’s rare, prestige Blanc de Blancs Champagne, produced only in exceptional vintages from 100% Chardonnay sourced from five top Côte des Blancs crus (Cramant, Avize, Oger, Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger and Vertus). Long ageing in the house’s ancient chalk cellars gives the wine its hallmark combination of chalky salinity, creamy, layered texture and complex notes ranging from citrus, floral and mineral tones to brioche, nuts and subtle toast with maturity.
