Extra Brut Rose de Saignee Les Beaudiers Non-Vintage Overview

NON-VINTAGE OVERVIEW

Gentle but deeply characterful, Champagne Laherte Frères Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers (base 2018) layers wild strawberry and pomegranate fruit with hints of rose petal, blood orange and a subtle, savory earthiness from old-vine Meunier. The palate is precise and dry, with fine, chalky bubbles and a long, quietly serious finish that invites slow sipping at the table rather than casual aperitif drinking.

About Extra Brut Rose de Saignee Les Beaudiers

Laherte Frères Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée “Les Beaudiers” is a 100% Pinot Meunier, parcel-driven rosé from old vines in the Les Beaudiers (Chavot) site, made by saignée with short maceration, native-yeast barrel fermentation, no malo and low dosage (extra brut). It shows a medium pomegranate hue and a textured, savory profile of ripe red fruit (strawberry, cherry, watermelon), floral and herbal notes and a taut saline acidity from chalky, silty-clay soils, offering depth and richness uncommon for rosé Champagne.
