In the 2016 Ceretto Barolo Bussia, ripe red cherry and dried strawberry glide over a core of fine, chalky tannin, with hints of rose, spice and warm earth giving the wine both charm and gravitas. The texture is strikingly silky yet energetic, with a gentle mid-palate sweetness and a savory, saline snap on the finish that speaks clearly of Bussia and this superb vintage.
