Caiarossa 2020 Vintage Overview

2020 OVERVIEW

Caiarossa Caiarossa 2020 shows a vibrant push-and-pull of ripe black and red berries with citrus peel, spice, and warm earthy notes, wrapped in velvety yet firm tannins. Medium to full in body, it feels polished and energetic, with lifted acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish that hints at both Tuscan sun and Bordeaux-style structure.

About Caiarossa

Caiarossa is the estate’s flagship Toscana IGT red, a biodynamic, Bordeaux-meets-Mediterranean blend that channels the red soils and sea-breeze-cooled slopes of Riparbella on the Tuscan coast. Crafted from a mosaic of parcels and seven varieties—including Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot and Grenache—it is vinified gently and aged in French oak to yield a deeply structured yet polished wine, marked by supple tannins, aromatic complexity and a distinctly elegant, modern Tuscan character.
