Ca' Rome's 2020 Barbaresco Sori Rio Sordo layers ripe cherry, blackberry and forest fruits with notes of orange zest, warm spice, cedar and a touch of earth. The palate is focused and vertical, with clean, pure fruit, firm yet polished tannins and a lingering, savory finish that hints at herbs and tobacco. This vintage is already expressive in aroma but clearly built to gain complexity with time in bottle.
