Beaune Greves Premier Cru Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus 2022 Vintage Overview

2022 OVERVIEW

Silky red and black fruits glide through Bouchard Père & Fils Beaune Grèves 1er Cru Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus 2022, layered with floral perfume and gentle spice over a refined, stony core. The palate is medium to full in feel yet beautifully composed, its concentration carried by superfine tannins and a long, mineral‑salted finish that promises real grace with time in bottle.

About Beaune Greves Premier Cru Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus

Beaune Grèves Premier Cru Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus from Bouchard Père & Fils is a monopole Pinot Noir from a 3.9‑ha mid‑slope parcel in the heart of Beaune’s Grèves, on very gravelly, sandy limestone that gives unusual finesse and silkiness for the appellation. Owned by Bouchard since 1791 and named for a Carmelite legend, it is typically a complex, medium‑bodied Beaune premier cru with bright red‑fruit, spice and floral notes, supple but structuring tannins, and very good capacity to age.
