Vecina 2020 Vintage Overview

2020 OVERVIEW

Blackcurrant, plum and blackberry fruit in BOND Vecina 2020 feels both concentrated and bright, wrapped in notes of cocoa, warm spice, leather and dried flowers, with a graphite-like edge that speaks to its rocky Vine Hill Ranch origin. The palate is powerful yet poised, with silky but tightly knit tannins and a vivid line of acidity that carries the dark, pure fruit long into the finish; a remarkably complete and refined wine considering the challenges of the vintage, and one that clearly rewards patience.

This is Napa Valley Cabernet in its most monumental, cellar-worthy guise, chiseled by a g…
