Bodega Chacra Mainqué Chardonnay 2024 is taut and crystalline, layering cool orchard fruit and lemon zest with subtle floral and herbal notes over a spine of salty, stony minerality. Medium in body yet remarkably persistent, it glides with focused precision and a long, mouthwatering finish that gains complexity as it sits in the glass.
Grilled sea bass with lemon and herbs; Roast chicken with thyme and garlic; Goat cheese and herb tart

Mainqué Chardonnay is Bodega Chacra’s cool‑climate Chardonnay from the Mainqué sector of Río Negro in Patagonia, made in collaboration with Meursault master Jean‑Marc Roulot from old, biodynamically farmed vines on alluvial, calcareous soils. It’s fermented and aged mainly in neutral French barrels (with part in concrete and steel), sees no malolactic to preserve bright acidity, and shows a chiseled, saline‑mineral profile—think citrus and white‑stone fruit framed by flint, chalk and subtle pastry notes.
