Cuvee Nicolas Francois Brut 2012 Vintage Overview

2012 OVERVIEW

Energy and richness play off each other beautifully in Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Nicolas François Brut 2012, with ripe apricot, raspberry and candied citrus layered over vanilla-laced pastry, toasted nuts and a chalky mineral core. The palate is concentrated yet incredibly precise, powered by zesty acidity and ultra-fine bubbles, finishing long, saline and tightly coiled despite the warmth of the vintage. A particularly expressive, broad-shouldered edition that still retains the house’s trademark finesse.

About Cuvee Nicolas Francois Brut

Cuvée Nicolas François Brut is Billecart-Salmon’s flagship vintage prestige Champagne, created in 1964 as a tribute to the house’s founder and sourced primarily from Grands and Premiers Crus in the Montagne de Reims, Grande Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. Typically a Pinot Noir–led blend with Chardonnay, part-vinified in oak and long-aged on lees, it is known for uniting Billecart’s hallmark finesse and tension with notable depth, richness, and a chalk-driven, saline finish that reflects its top-tier Champagne terroirs.
