Monteraponi Baron' Ugo Toscana Rosso 2018 Vintage Overview

2018 OVERVIEW

Silky yet focused, Monteraponi Baron' Ugo 2018 Toscana Rosso layers pure red cherry and wild berry fruit with notes of black pepper, subtle spice and a gentle floral lift. The high-altitude freshness keeps the palate taut and vibrant, while fine, polished tannins and delicately integrated oak give this Sangiovese-led blend a long, graceful finish.

About Monteraponi Baron' Ugo Toscana Rosso

Baron’Ugo Toscana Rosso from Azienda Agricola Monteraponi is the estate’s flagship red—produced only in top vintages from high‑altitude Radda vineyards and built mainly on Sangiovese with small amounts of Canaiolo and Colorino. Fermented on indigenous yeasts in concrete with long maceration and aged for years in large oval botti before bottling unfiltered, it shows bright red-fruit and floral notes over an earthy, mineral core, fine-grained tannins and a poised, ageworthy structure.
