Aubert’s 2014 Eastside Russian River Chardonnay is a powerful, tightly focused white that layers ripe white peach and nectarine with notes of citrus oil, baked apple and subtle vanilla spice. The richness on the palate is balanced by vivid acidity and a salty, mineral edge, giving the wine impressive drive and length. Still youthful in structure, it shows both hedonistic depth and precision in this vintage.
