Ruffino

Ruffino is one of Tuscany’s most historic and widely recognized wine houses, founded in 1877 by cousins Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino in Pontassieve, just outside Florence. Built at a strategic crossroads of rail links and glass production, the winery quickly became a benchmark for Chianti and was among the first to export Chianti to international markets, notably the United States.
