Founded in the mid-1960s by visionary winemaker Renato Ratti, this La Morra estate helped redefine modern Barolo. After studying oenology in Alba and working in Brazil for Cinzano, Ratti returned to Piedmont in 1965 and purchased a small Barolo vineyard in the historic Marcenasco area beneath the Abbazia dell’Annunziata.
