John Duval Wines is a family-owned producer based in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, founded in 2003 after John Duval concluded a three-decade career at Penfolds, where he served as only the third Chief Winemaker responsible for Penfolds Grange. Drawing on five generations of family grape-growing and his own work with Australia’s most famous reds, Duval shifted from large-house winemaking to a small, focused label built on old-vine Barossa fruit and a philosophy of balance, elegance and structure.
