Emrich-Schonleber

Emrich-Schönleber is one of the reference estates of Germany’s Nahe region, based in the village of Monzingen on the western edge of the appellation. The Schönleber family has cultivated vines here for around 250 years, but the modern estate took shape between the 1960s and 1980s, when Wilhelm and then Werner Schönleber converted a mixed farm into a dedicated winegrowing operation and expanded the holdings from just a couple of hectares to around ten.
