Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier

Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier is one of Burgundy’s benchmark estates, founded in 1924 when Georges Roumier married Geneviève Quanquin and began farming her family’s vines in Chambolle-Musigny. Initially much of the production was sold to merchants, but domaine bottling started as early as 1945, and the estate steadily expanded in the 1950s with important acquisitions such as Bonnes-Mares and, later, the monopole Clos de la Bussière in Morey-Saint-Denis and a coveted parcel of Musigny Grand Cru.
