Clos de Tart is one of Burgundy’s great historic estates, a 7.53-hectare walled Grand Cru monopole perched above the village of Morey‑Saint‑Denis in the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard, originally known as La Forge, was acquired in 1141 by the Cistercian nuns of Notre‑Dame de Tart and has remarkably had only four owners in more than nine centuries.
