Domaine de la Grange des Peres

Domaine de la Grange des Pères is a small, cult Languedoc estate in Aniane, in the Hérault, created essentially from scratch by Laurent Vaillé at the end of the 1980s. A former physiotherapist, Vaillé retrained in viticulture and honed his craft with icons such as Coche-Dury in Burgundy and Chave and Rayas in the Rhône before dynamiting and bulldozing a stony plateau above Aniane to plant about 10–11 hectares of vines.
